"Rough Sea" on Leather!

Woke up this afternoon and received this beautiful picture!
Another gift from my friend, Mr. James Geigan.
It was embossed with leather "plugs".
The sails, clouds and sea were painstakingly executed!
The masts and hull look like they were carved from wood!

Another Belt For A Colleague.
Just completed this embossed "Pueblo Pattern" belt for a colleague.
May looks better if I'll to add in those star conchos in those circles but he wants it plain, so I stamped a flower center instead. That tool is one of three Barry King's given to me by a IILG / Flasah member.

Ostrich Leg Biker Wallet.
The ostrich leg skin is a fraction longer than 15" and 7" at its widest.
Height of wallet 7 1/8", so have to make do with whatever left of it!

It is now a routine, they come back every few hours for the food.

They came around 0900 and 1800 hrs. It did look like they are looking for their kids as in the first pic my wife told me that dad was cooing and looking behind those shelves. Check this out:

August, 10th 2008 THEY ARE BACK!
About 1415 hrs., my wife told me that they are back! Both the parents came and took the food, am not sure if its for their kids or for themselves. They stayed for about half an hour.
I shot them, put up the volume to hear their calls also in between you can hear a myna but took off before I can swing the camera.

First egg laid on July 9th and fledged on August 9th.
We missed them but that's life! My wife took the last few pics around 1700 hrs. They were pinkish, wonder if that was a sign? Hope they do come back for those food should they go hungry.

Some blunders! Forgot to copy that pic. with ' mirror image ', the wordings of that temple ( Hong Kong ) came out the other way! Used that for the back piece. Should have used thicker leather for the flaps! My sisters-in-law are not complaining! We learn from mistakes!

Carved Ping Pong Bat Cover.
For a table tennis transplant who represented Singapore in the Olympics. That two words in red said, " Keep It Up "! The other side is a " 2-Shews " of the player's face and the Singapore Flag.
Unusual Pics:Discus Q-up, Grafted Hibiscus.
This was taken more than ten years ago after a water change. These Discus just stayed in a straight line! Sent it to a local newspaper for the weekly ' Unusual Photo ' contest and won S$35.00! When asked how did I make them Q-up? I told the reporter that I used a cane and whistle! LOL!
